ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಕಾಸ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನ

ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕೇರಳ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪಾಲಾದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಭಾಷಾವಾರು ಅಲಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು ಅನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅವಗಣನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾದ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಮೂಲದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಒಂದು ವೇದಿಕೆಯಡಿ ಸಂಘಟಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ಫಲವಾಗಿ ವಿಕಾಸ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಈ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ವಿಕಾಸ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್, ದೇಶದ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯದ ಅಮೃತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ, ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಒಂದು ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡು ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಕಾಸ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನವನ್ನು ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಪಾರಂಪರಿಕ ತಾಣಗಳು, ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಣೀಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು, ಸಂಘ-ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಗಣ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಕನ್ನಡ ಹೋರಾಟಗಾರರು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ನವೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2021ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಜನವರಿ 14, 2022ರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ 75 ದಿನ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಇಂಧನ ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿ. ಸುನೀಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಜನಮನ್ನಣೆ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದು , ಜನಸಾಮನ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳು ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಜೊತೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ಇದನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೂ ತಲುಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Kasaragod, wherein Kannadigas form the majority, is a place of linguistic minority in Kerala ever since the annexation of Kasaragod to the State and hence it is one of the most neglected and least developed parts in the State.

Vikasa Trust was established to bring together the residents in Bengaluru hailing from Kasaragod under one umbrella to focus on ‘development of Kasaragod’ as its main agenda.Vikasa Trust has embarked upon an ambitious digital campaign Kasaragod Kannada Vikasa Mahiti Abhiyana, in commemoration with the Amrith Mahotsav of India’s Independence’ and Karnataka Rajyotsava, to create awareness about Kasaragod across the Trust’s various social media platforms.

The campaign features the heritage sites, tourist spots, institutions, eminent personalities and Kannada activists etc, belonging to Kasaragod.

Launched by Sri V Sunil Kumar, Hon’ble Minister for Energy, Kannada & Culture, Karnataka State; the 75 day long campaign was started on 1st of November 2021 and will run continuously till 14th January 2022.

The campaign has been receiving a tremendous response since its launch. We request the general public and Kannada lovers to give it a big hand and help ‘Kasaragod Kannada Vikasa Mahiti Abhiyana’ reach every Kannadiga world over.
